1. Verification & Accuracy
We execute thorough verification before publishing any article. Technical claims regarding cryptography protocols, silicon architectures, or macroeconomics must be supported by primary source materials, peer-reviewed journals, or replicable code repositories.
Our correspondents disclose source links, code tests, and research methodologies within their pieces so readers can verify calculations independently.
2. Conflict of Interest Disclosures
WiseDesk editors and contributors must disclose any conflicts of interest. If a writer discusses a decentralized network, software product, or hardware manufacturer in which they have a financial stake or personal connection, that relationship must be disclosed clearly at the beginning of the article.
3. Source Protection
We defend the right to protect confidential sources. For sensitive whistleblower submissions via our public PGP key, we enforce strict compartmentalization. Only the assigned investigative editor has access to the PGP payloads, and we purge all source metadata before publishing reporting.
4. Editorial Independence
Our editorial decisions are entirely separate from financial considerations. Sponsors have no input on article directions, reviews, or subject matter. If an underwriter disagrees with an opinion or tech review, they have no power to edit or retract our reporting.
